Hire a vehicle on Spain's Golden Holiday cost
Marbella may never have had a
motto when it was a sleepy fishing village, but it does now.
'A Way of Life' is said to be the town's new expression
of creed, and it seems determined to convert itself into Southern
Spain's answer to St Tropez.
The town has been spending money on landscaping,
beautification and the projection of a desirable residential
image, for a couple of years, and now visitor numbers,
which had stalled a bit, seem to be responding.
Marbella still has a touch of its
old self here and there, particularly round the back streets
in the old part of town. For a quick feel of it, try the 'Orange
Square', just off the old town high street. You will also
find there the 16th century town hall and tourist office,
where you can pick up a detailed map and visitor information.
You can pick up a vehicle, for that's
the only way of getting around Marbella, at our locations
listed above. If you are new driver in Spain, please
refer to our"Driving
Regulations" page. If you are intending to ramble round
Southern Spain a bit, then probably our "Places
to Stay" page on the South, and perhaps, a browse
through our
"Places to See" page, would be helpful.
