How to make the most of rental car services in an island

Las Palmas, is the largest city and
the harbour for Las Palmas Province. It's a busy little
town with a population of 342,000 at the last count.
The other large town of the group is Santa
Cruz de Tenerife, or just Tenerife. It is a harbour
town on the coast of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary
Islands, and is the provincial capital. Vehicles drive
on the right hand side of the road. A green UK licence
requires an International Driving Permit but a pink UK licence
does not. Minimum driving age is 18.
You can pick up a hire vehicle at

a little from place to place, but nothing too extraordinary.
